Seductive Mascara...

this is not really the most tasteful post ever... but it was just too
good to pass up on and not tell you all about...

Seriously!
Sometimes the things that manage to come out of people's mouth...
sometimes- it just flat out amazes me... and then-
sometimes....
I can't believe my tongue isn't bitten off from me biting it so hard...
to keep from laughing!!

Just a few moments ago I had a lady walk into the studio.
She wanted mascara...
can do (thought I) that's easy enough!
What kind of mascara I ask?
And what does she say you wonder....
she says-- I want that boner kind... I want that boner mascara!
Eh... what was that again I wonder!
At this point I decided the safest thing was to just look on the computer,
in her file... what I think she meant to say was... the ebony!
The ebony mascara not the boner mascara!!!
Yowza!!!!

Clinique's Summer Color's...

I saw this... and I just couldn't keep it to myself. I had to let you guys in on it. It's Clinique's newest summer color set and... could it be any prettier, any daintier.... any sweeter? I don't think so!

This set is called Beauty In Bamboo (for more info click the name)...
Included in this set you get-

-The lovely of loveliest eyeshadow sets. I love those colors in the set... all are still very earth toned but this time you get just a touch of some pretty mauves and pinks for a different twist on the natural look.

-The lipstick... bamboo pink... one of Clinique's all time best selling shades. It's pink, it's got a tad bit of shimmer and a tad of gloss.... so pretty! Reminds me of the natural shade of a little girls candy kissed lips.

-My favorite and what I bought. The flower blush. Oh how I love this product so.... as you can see from the photograph 3 different shades of pink are involved... meaning: it gives you nothing but a truly sun-drenched look. So pretty and so fresh... and hello- could the packaging be any prettier?

Check it out... in fact... I think I recall hearing from somewhere that Clinique will soon be having a free gift...

Little Too Hot...

I have something to tell you guys about that I think is hilarious! As you may (or may not) know my mother owns and operates a Curve's woman's fitness facility... and normally everything is gravy there. Her clients are great (well... most of em'), funny and and pretty much amiable. But there are a few lady complainers in the bunch. Guess what they are complaining about? Can you guess....! They are complaining because they get too hot they say!! Mmmm... isn't that what exercise is kind of about? Other day she saw a client in the grocery store... Mom asked why she hadn't seen her at Curve's in the last couple of weeks... what did her client say you may wonder- that she just sweats and her makeup comes off and she just gets sorta hot!! Funny, huh? I tell Mom to tell them that they are supposed to be hot... that they'll burn more calories IF they sweat a little... she did... and they just looked at her like she was crazy!

Now mind you... Mom isn't trying to fry them in there by any means. If I walk through there I actually (no lie!) get cold. Her electricity bill last month was about $500... and she also has these 8 awesome rotating fans mounted on the wall around the circuit (they are so strong they just about blow my socks off, lol)... so yes... they may get hot, but that's just kinda how it goes! I haven't figured what they are thinking yet... I guess maybe that they should feel and look like they came outta the spa maybe..... who knows!!

I got pictured tagged by my wonderful and lovely bloggy friend JAM... if you don't know her already go say hello... seriously do!! The 1st photo was in my 1st folder and the 10th picture! It's another shot of action from Turner's pool party this past weekend! The little lady would be Emory (ya'll remember her from here) and the man beside her would be my daddy!

And this picture was in my 6th folder and the 6th photo... it's me and Daisy (my good girl)!! This was taken about a year and a half ago... Daisy was tiny and my hair was dark... oh the times and how fast they change!!!

My Weekend...

This weekend was quite relaxing... don't you love those! Saturday night my sister had my nephews 2nd birthday/pool party. Lots of fun and lots of food... of course though- extra food is never bad!!

That first photo is a pic of Turner's birthday cake... except... it's not cake- it's 24 cupcakes with icing spread all over to create the cake illusion! Pretty cool huh? Sweet lookin' and saa-weeet tasting too!

That middle photo... Turner... the birthday boy in all his glory! Can be mean as a snake and turn around and be the nicest two year old ever... gotta love em!!

And... sorry- just had to include it! Dudes kinda got hot, isn't he and he's all mine?!?! hehe!
