Martin Legacy was a top field interrogator before his life was shattered by a random crime. He withdrew to a basement post in the FBI, developing a mythic reputation as a brilliant malcontent. An agent brings him an active case. An abduction ring is preying on young women, using them in adult films and ransoming them for the price of pornography. Legacy is willing to leave the basement for this.
this was a darker book than i normally choose to read.. heck! read the synopsis and you get it it! but.. i am so GLAD i chose to carry on with it. some scenes are quite graphic, and sometimes the book gets a tad hard to muddle through.. but, i still loved it. it IS free at barnes and noble so... can't hurt to give it a whirl! great book... i totally recommend it...

I don't normally read mysteries. I am still into romance novels. My husband is the mystery reader.
